Filmmaker: Ebrahim HatamikiaBorn in Tehran in 1961, Ebrahim Hatamikia is an internationally recongnized filmmaker whose work has received many awards. He has spent the bulk of his filmmaking career on the Iran-Iraq war and its effect on the society. He studied history of cinema, screenwriting and directing at the Islamic center of amateur Film Making. He made several short films and documentaries about the war. He wrote and directed his first feature film, The Identity "Hoviyat" in 1986. The film Az Karkheh ta Rhein which deals with the chemical warfare injuries is a must see for everyone. Hatamikia has directed over 14 feature films.
