He has edited more than 30 documentaries and features, and directed many documentaries including "The Heritage of the Sun" (2002) which won the Silver Wolf award at the Amsterdam Festival. He has collaborated with Rakhshan Bani-Etemad for over two decades and co-directed his first feature film "Gilaneh" with her. Please Do Not Disturb is his first full length feature film. It's a tri-segmented comic anthology and deals with social issues in contemporary Tehran. One can clearly see the influence of Bani-Etemad in this film. Her daughter Baran Kosari play the lead role portraying a battered wife. Overall, the film is powerful, funny and thought-provoking. Related Links |
