The Feminist Majority Foundation Global Women's Rights Awards, hosted by Jay and Mavis Leno, honored four female Nobel Peace laureates:
Shirin Ebadi (2003) of Iran
Jody Williams (1997) of the United States
Betty Williams (1997) of Northern Ireland
Rigoberta Menchú Tum (1992) of Guatemala
The forum featured a panel with the honorees moderated by actor/activist Salma Hayek. The panel focused on the critical leadership women are providing around the world in the pursuit of peace.
