For many years now, he has been the most popular poet in America. His work has been adapted into feautre films and songs in the West. On Rumi's 805th birthday, Dr. Majid Naini recited some of Rumi's poetry in Persian with English translation and interpretation. He also reflected on the life and teachings of Rumi.
